Health and Life coaching are two different certifications that truly go hand in hand.
As a Health Coach, I am passionate about living a healthy life. I want to empower others to make a commitment to living a healthy life. This includes looking at nutrition and our relationship with food, exercise and activity, as well as promoting self-care and so much more. Digging in to truly understand what might be holding someone back from achieving their health, fitness, and general wellbeing goals can reveal other areas that need discovery, support, and sustainable change. We work together to face these challenges and look for ways to overcome them so that my clients can find sustainable success in their health and wellness journey.
As a Life Coach, I am passionate about helping others get clear on what they want and what they need out of life. We will identify and talk about challenges and other obstacles that may be preventing them from achieving their goals, and we will work together to create an action plan for success. In general, we work together to create positive and sustainable change in their lives across five main areas: Health, Career, Love and Relationships, Money, and That Which is Greater.
Together, the Health Coach and Life Coach certifications allow me to support my clients on a more holistic approach to their overall wellbeing. We will work together to set goals that improve and work toward achieving their desired state of health and wellness, we work to address unhealthy or negative habits and behaviors that might prevent them from following through, and we work to develop healthy habits and new behaviors that will help them succeed. I am here as a support and accountability guide for my clients as they work toward sustainable change in their lives.
Coaches and therapists are both trained professionals, both empower clients to make positive changes in their lives and both serve as a support system for their clients.
A Therapist is typically a licensed mental health professional who may have varying graduate level degrees. A therapist diagnoses and resolves various problematic beliefs and behaviors that have led to or created relationship issues, feelings and sometimes physical responses. Therapy typically focuses on the past: experiences, situations, traumas and other issues to help identify necessary changes to self-destructive habits and behaviors. The focus, however, is generally on the past with the hope of resolving past issues in order to create a happier, more stable future.
A Coach is a professional who earns a certification through an accredited program, may or may not have a degree, and is generally not required to be licensed. A coach does not diagnose or resolve issues or problems with a client, instead, a coach works with their clients to help them set goals, identify challenges, obstacles and/or negative behaviors in order to create action plans to achieve desired results. The process requires more action steps that allows a client to take control of their life and take action to move towards their goals. The focus is primarily on the present with the intention of helping a client create new, positive, and healthier behaviors and habits that ultimately brings them success and fulfillment, in any and all areas of their life.
If, during a session, it becomes apparent that a client may be better suited for the services of a therapist or any other trained professional, I will work with my clients to identify who that trained professional may need to be.
The 90 Day Transformation program includes personalized coaching sessions, resources, and support designed to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. A summary of our coaching session is provided to you after the session has been completed. I am also available to my clients throughout the program and will return email messages within 24 hours during business hours Monday through Thursday.
I ask that you commit to a 3-month (12 week) initial coaching relationship. The goal of this experience is to assist you with permanently changing habits and behaviors in order to achieve your goals and dreams. On-demand coaching for new clients does not provide the consistency, accountability, or support that most people need in order to stay on track in order to achieve those goals.
The Total Transformation Coaching Program is intentionally designed as a 12-week program so that it is not disruptive to your daily life but does allow you to step your way each week toward your end, desired result. The program is designed with two options available:

Yes! We can always continue working together if you'd like. There may be new goals you'd like to work toward or there may be goals in a different area of your life you'd like to work toward. Remember, this is a health and life coaching program so the coaching can and often does extend beyond the original intentions for coaching.
And for those returning, I do provide a maintenance program specifically for clients who have already completed a 90-day program and wish to continue on a reduced check-in schedule. This is offered as a once a month or twice a month session. Please contact me for more details if you are a returning client.
No, you do not need any special equipment or tools to participate in the coaching program. I work with you to create a plan that fits your lifestyle and preferences, using resources and tools that are easily accessible and convenient for you.
I enjoy working with clients of all ages and backgrounds and I enjoy working with clients who have a wide range of health and wellness goals.
I do, however, specifically enjoy working with middle-aged and older women. I enjoy working with women to empower them to finally identify themselves as a top priority in their life. Women often times get caught in the fast lane of life, ensuring that everyone's needs are met before their own and are suddenly realizing they may be overweight and desire to be fit, they may be weak and desire to be strong, they may have career, monetary, and relationship goals that have been set aside while they raise their children, and the list goes on. I'm here to help women identify themselves as a priority so that they may set goals for their health and overall wellbeing, work on changing habits and behaviors that support the change they desire, and then help them create action plans and new habits and behaviors that they can then sustain for continued success as they travel on this journey called life.
